I wear my boots, on average 75 hours a week and I have trouble finding the right footwear for my extra wide feet. My story began when I bought boots from a competitive brand that I wore four days before my feet were painful and had blisters all over them. I returned to the store to buy another pair that cost more than $ 200 and I wore the boots only one day because the fit was not right and my feet were moving inside.

Out of patience, I went to another store and spoke with the retailer. He looked at me surprised and asked: “Have you ever tried the ROYER brand?” He measured my feet and brought me the right size. As soon as I put them on, I felt like I was wearing slippers, lightweight and, wow, as comfortable as custom made boots! I spent more than $550 for three pairs of boots in ten days before discovering the ROYER brand and I will never change again!

Thanks so much for the follow up. I can't say enough about Royer's helpfulness. A few days ago we didn't even know the brand of the boot we were looking for, the model number or the size.

Jack at Harry David was terrific, and even before you and I spoke he had offered to get us in to measure in another Royer boot and order the ones we thought we wanted. By the next morning I had remembered about the orange Royer stored in the workshop - legibly size 10s. After speaking with Bruce I felt reassured that the 2027XP was the model we were looking for (no matter how similar, it is hard to be sure from a picture), and so now we were set.

By coincidence, when I caught up with Jose on site in the afternoon and told him I had ordered through the Kensington store where he buys reflective vests, his ground worker immediately said Harry David was the place where he always gets his boots - sure enough, Royer, but a leather model.

So a happy ending, the poor old boots can finally be retired. Thanks to you, Jack, Nathalie and everyone. We knew your boots were exceptional and now we know your customer service is too. We will happily pass along what we have learned to colleagues in the field.

Regards, Denise.

My old Kodiak boots with protective steel toe were pretty used and I needed a new pair of boots to work around my house. I’m wearing orthosis, I’ve tried many kind of boots before trying on the Royer brand, as suggested by my brother, who works daily with safety boots. Royer’s boots are the most comfortable I have ever had wear since now. Lightweight, easy to put on, they are real slippers. A real revelation!

Since then, I recommend them to all my friends. I bought the style 10-8620.

As long as Royer makes their products in Canada I will continue to be a loyal customer and will continue to recommend my fellow workers the benefits of using a Canadian made product. I have been using a Royer work boot in the work place for the last 6 years or more. I find them to be comfortable and wear well in a harsh environment. I work in a greasy, wet and dirty environment and am totally satisfied with my Royer work boots. Thanks for a fine Canadian made product. Mr Maurice Charette

I am a volunteer for the search and rescue group Equinox and would like comment on your linemen’s boot style # 8700. One morning of November, I left in expedition with my group. It rained buckets. We entered the forest around 9:00 under the beating rain and we were on expedition until to 17:00. It rained all day and the weather was very cold (- 5C). When buying boots, I am a difficult customer. I require leather of the best quality and a construction without fail. I very often work on steep, timbered and wet ground. I can affirm you that this day, I wore the best boots of my life (I am 33 years old and I have used a pair per year for the last 15 years). I was never cold and my feet were kept dry. Ladies and gentlemen, as a result of your work, you contributed to my comfort. Thank you and continue in this way! Best Regards Pier Dumont

I recently purchased a pair of your boots style # 2086XP at Afelskie Shoes in Kilaloe Ontario. I must tell you these are by far the best work boots I have ever had. They fit perfect right out of the box with no break in period. I have had them now for a couple of months and every morning I pull them on and say, Wow, am I ever glad I bought these. To make it even better they are made in Canada. Keep up the great work. I have my eye on your chainsaw boots next. Regards Martin Reece.

Good morning, I have been searching for the ideal motorcycle boot that was lightweight, breathable, waterproof and has good traction on surfaces from oily pavement to gravel. Nothing has met my specifications till now. I wore my Royer boots (style # 2096XP)on a 12,258 km motorcycle ride to Newfoundland and Labrador for 3.5 weeks through some very extreme, wet and sometimes hot conditions. These boots are everything that I want in a motorcycle boot!!!!! They kept me dry and comfortable under the wettest conditions. Finally, after 38 years of riding, I can safely say these are the best motorcycle boots on the market, bar none. Mr Gary McKibbon

I just bought a pair of your linesman boots (#40236, EEE, size 8) at Work Authority (Calgary, AB) and I love them. I have NEVER bought such a nice pair of boots!!! No real break-in period, fit tight out of the box! The quality and thought that went into these boots is impressive! This is the only pair of work boots that I've ever bought that locks my heel in place as boots are supposed to. I am an electrician (not a lisnesman) but I spend a lot of time on ladders, scafforlding, structural steel, and hanging off some strange tings occasionally so I appreciate tight fitting boots. I spend a lot of time mountaineering. hiking, and climbing in my spare time and I can tell you that I really appreciate good, thight fitting footwear that doesn't have a bunch of excessive material in the ankle area or anywhere else for that matter like my new Royer boots. I'm glad to see Royer understands the importance of a rocker toe, solid & non-flexing shank, and Vibram (not some proprietary crap that doesn't work as good). Somebody was thinking when they put a thin tongue on these boots. People don't need a 10mm thick padded tongue like others make. I also like unlined boots - not every boot made needs Cambrelle lining and 200g of Thinsulate. I wish other mfg's could understand this. In spite of the cost ($270.00), these boots are worth every penny, and I will likely buy another pair this week just to have as spares because I like them so much. To all of the people at L.P. Royer who work very hard to make GREAT footwear, "Thank you very much!" Your thought effort, ideas, innovativeness, and attitude are VERY appreciated. Thank you for making these boots in Québec, Canada! Proudly Canadian!!! Mr. Joseph Bourque
